Blessing or Encouragement...Does Everyone Need it?

Good morning beautiful T.O.G peeps!! How are you doing today? I won’t lie I’m riding that struggle bus.

I’m on the end on of my infusion, the last week and half is usually rough for me. Awful fatigue, sore throat, asthma flare, congestion but tomorrow’s is infusion day!!! Hallelujah!🙌🏻🙏🏻🙌🏻🙏🏻🙌🏻

Dr is doing blood work today so hopefully that will shed some light, I’m thinking I need them every 3 week instead of monthly but maybe a dosage raise. Guess we’ll have to wait and see. There switching me to new IgG product tomorrow, one with “less side effects” makes me wonder why I wasn’t one that one to start with LOL🤣🙄🤔 but I digress. Anywho, enough about me, back to my topic of today.

A while ago, I had a situation where I wanted to do something nice for a particular person but someone says to me “You might want to rethink that and listed off a bunch of hoo-ha. Honestly, I was really caught off guard. I already knew what God spoke to me so it didn’t matter what they thought. He said do it and me being obedient to what God tells me to do is more important than what someone else thinks.

Here’s what I know....EVERYONE needs encouragement and a blessing. You don’t know what that person is going through or what God wants to speak to them.

So if I go by what this person is saying only a homeless person, or someone who’s lost their home, loved one, or some other tragic event happens....those are the only people who need to be blessed and encouraged. I don’t agree with that. Yes absolutely, in all these situations we need to come along side them and love and bless them but if someone is rich or in the middle.....does that mean they don’t need a blessing? I think they do too. I think everyone does!

If someone lives in a nice house or drives a nice car does that mean they don’t need a blessing? Because according to what your saying is if your rich or in the middle then God will also withhold His blessings on you as well. But His word says He will bless us to be a blessing. We just need to be sensitive to what Holy Spirit is telling us to do. You never know what’s going on behind closed doors...they could’ve lost a job, had a death in their family. They could be thinking of committing suicide. You could be the only Jesus they see. Your small act of kindness could be the very thing that puts them back on the right path, that shows them someone cares, shows them God loves them and sees them. They still need a blessing too. Everyone does.

Just because someone has nice things doesn’t mean they don’t need encouragement and it doesn’t mean they don’t need a reminder that God sees them and loves them and cares for them too.

We all have struggles, whether you’re rich or poor....struggles you see and the ones you don’t see and we ALL need a blessing and encouragement. But that’s just my thoughts.

1 Thessalonians 5:11 So encourage each other to build each other up, just as you are already doing.

Galatians 6:2 Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.

Matthew 5:16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

Luke 6:31 And as you wish that others would do to you, do so to them.

Ephesians 5:1 Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children.

Be a light in someone’s darkness! Just be blessing. Love God and love people!

Hope y’all have a wonderful day! God bless you.

Big hugs,

Nicole💗
